Parmly LifePointes is proud to exhibit the oil painting talents of local artist, David Hopkins. David is a long-time tenant of the Parmly LifePointes Community and Chisago County. A life altering accident brought about David’s passion for painting. David’s paintings are full of action and stories with some paintings depicting Chisago County scenes.

 

Throughout the years, his paintings have been featured in the Snyder’s Drug Store calendars, a Smead Corporate holiday greeting card, and have won various awards in the annual Abbott NW and Sister Kinney International Art Show for Disabled Artists. The Sister Kinney International Art Show is one of the oldest and largest public exhibits of art by people with disabilities and features entries from around the world.
